I loved the game!
During my gameplay i came up with some 2 typos, one was in the encounter with Zack, and the other was during the prologue when Emily was searching for the documents.
But i gotta say, wasnt expecting this last scene at all, during most of the prologue i tought they were in a similar situation to the manga of Ichinose Deadly Sins, but that would not explain a lot of stuff in the chapter 1.
Either way keep up with the good work, im waiting for your next update!
First of all, I'm so glad you enjoy it! It's a bit of a time-consuming project, but I'll be posting updates as often as I can (Normally a build every 2 months)
Secondly, I really appreciate you showing me the typos, it's an easy thing to fix and it often goes unnoticed when I read and re-read. When I get home, I'll go through the typos and correct them, because if I leave it to do it later, I'll probably end up forgetting.
And, I've never read the Ichinose Family manga, but I remember it becoming popular last year. One day I do intend to read it, I have no spoilers, but I do know that there's the family amnesia and some mysterious scenarios that keeps popping up to them so I understand the connection lol
I recommend the read! Its was an amazing manga, but got cancelled, so the ending is kinda rushed
But my comparison hold no big spoilers, so dont worry about it!
If i find anything i gonna report then, was afraid it could be kinda rude the way i just blatantly said it
And im waiting for the Lewie Route, the best boy
I don't doubt that I'll end up eventually reading it, I'll only finish my journey through Clamp's works first, I've picked up several of them to read, I just finished RG Veda today, the best one so far.
And I'm glad you like Lewis! I'll say though that his route will take a while to come, I want to get to a certain point in Jack's Route before working on the others, I think things will make more sense when it arrives.
Do I need WinRar to play?
My bad, I mindlessly used WinRar as default, I added the normal Zip version
Much thanks!
Great job on the story, it really drew me in! I find the characters to be really well-developed and varied. Looking forward to the full release!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it. It's going to take a while for the full release, but as time goes by I'll be posting updates
Out of curiosity, who does the character art for the game? I like the style
I did the character art, writing and programming myself. What I didn't do was the soundtrack, some of the background art and the plugins for the RpgMaker
Nice work! Do you have a gallery?
Thanks! And, not really, I started to learn how to draw in pixel art just for the sake of doing the character sprites in the game and took a long time to make and create them for the sake of me not being an artist myself. Appreciate the fact that you liked the character art though
Wanted to report a bug. During the investigation segment of the outdoor area, you can try to leave during this bottom right exit, and the game will warn you, but unlike the other exits, it won't turn you around and spit you out...you just get stuck there and can't reach the menu.
Oh thanks! I'll get to fix that, I'll post the fixed version soon
I just got home and spotted the bug, it was something simple, I'll wait and see if I find any other bugs to release an update. I greatly appreciate reporting bugs that in the midst of everything end up going unnoticed. Thank you!
Just a suggestion, you might want to mention that the platform is Windows-only (AFAICT). There’s no OS information whatsoever here on the project page, that I can see.
I've just added it, I didn't realize I had not add it in before, thanks! In the future I plan to add more ports, however I'm struggling with Android/IOS one, hopefully I'll manage to do it
I can only imagine the undertaking a project like this entails. And this was a wonderful beginning. Will each route have it's own unique story or will there be a general overlap of how things happen between them?
I even posted it as a prototype because, as I'm doing practically everything myself, I don't want to leave any deadlines or anything like that, so thank you! Each route will be similar in many ways at first, but will evolve into its own story, as each one aims to tackle a particular aspect of the mystery, while tackling the others more superficially. And within the 4 main routes there will be small sub-routes that will have many similarities, with only a few alterations according to the choices you choose altering some scenes and dialogues.
I pray your passion burns long and steady~ I look forward to what comes next :3
